Long a marginalized art form, comics have emerged in recent years as a dynamic and important category within popular culture. In Winter 2019, Communication professor Erik Palmer and the students of HON315 - Comics, Culture & Politics set out to rigorously explore the real value of comics, and the diverse scholarly approaches by which we can study comics.
