Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb's) epoxide hydrolase (EH) enzymes are responsible for breaking down harmful oxygen radicals and may be important in establishing infections in their host. The protonation states of two HIS in the active-site were investigated with molecular dynamic simulation. The protonation state of the histidines may affect the mechanism.
