Aluminum (Al) is the most abundant metal in earth’s crust. Due to accessibility and affordability, Al is used in packaging, water treatment, hydraulic fracturing, cosmetics, antiperspirant actives and more. Al in solution (water) chemistry is a novel field of research in which new Al cluster formations are being discovered. This project explores Al cluster formation using antiperspirant active ingredients containing Al via separation and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) techniques.
