Fatty acid binding proteins are targets for inhibition because they are part of the regulatory process for endocannabinoids and can be in cancerous tissues. Several CBD analogues previously studied within the endocannabinoid system alongside CBD were selected to test against FABPs. Analogues will be synthesized and tested for binding affinities with molecular docking studies and a Fluorescence Plate Reader.
