A method was developed and validated for the instrumental analysis of the tablet dosage form of the antibiotic preparation co-trimoxazole using high performance liquid chromatography with UV detection. The scientific literature was reviewed, and existing methodology was adapted for use with the available instrumentation. This project was done in coordination with the Distributed Pharmaceutical Analysis Laboratory at Notre Dame University.
