As video games become more popular through devices such as smartphones and tablets, children have greater access to and interest in digital games. One of the fastest growing video game formats, virtual reality, immerses players in game play. For this community-based learning (CBL) project, the presenter installed a virtual reality experience in Science Works Hands-on Museum to investigate the educational advantages of virtual reality technology.
