An insight and explanation of current ongoing research at Southern Oregon University and U.C. Davis concerning chemical reactions between subterranean mineral surfaces and various fracking fluids. This poster will discuss the hydraulic fracturing oil procurement method, the use of aluminum-13 Keggin clusters as a mineral surface mimics, and performed analytical techniques used to classify and track potential reactions and products.
