The classroom can be a place of major stress for students. Attempting to alleviate some of this, many professors have adopted a flipped classroom approach, where students are exposed to material outside of class, and spend class time on interactive activities. Team-Based-Learning (TBL) is another alternative professors have used, where students are strategically divided into groups that last the entire term. No other extant study has compared the efficacy of either approach.
