Short mindfulness lessons were developed and presented to 7th and 8th graders at John Muir School. The goal for this project was to observe how teens respond to and practice mindfulness and learn how this affects their overall well-being. At this age, students experience increasing social and educational pressures. Teaching mindfulness may help students develop healthy practices to manage the stress and anxiety of adolescence.
