SOU faculty share descriptions of their work and research in sub-Saharan Africa. Margaret Perrow (English) reports on her 20-year longitudinal research on youth-development in post-apartheid South Africa. Megan Farnsworth reports on collaboration between SOU and Chombo Village Malawi, by providing education to women (reading, health, and economic development). Amber Reed reports on the role of "Life Orientation" class in South African public schools as a tool for democracy building.
